About The Show
Xtreme Gravity had some tough decisions to do in 2013 for the Laws of Physics Car Show. Being the 5th year, it was a "Go big or go home" situation and despite some nervousness, we decided to go all out and bring something to the Ohio show scene that no other show was offering. With a change of venues, Xtreme Gravity moved the show to the Ashland County Fairgrounds, and made Laws of Physics a 2-day camping show! With the help of all the sponsors, club and most importantly those who camp to participate in the show, we've done it! Laws of Physics 2013 was our best show so far, bar-none, and we will continue the tradition and location and being hosting the Laws of Physics 2015 at the Ashland County Fairgrounds!
LOP is an event we do to raise money for the American Cancer Society's Race for a Cure program and Ashland County Food Drive, along with putting together a show in which all people can enjoy. An all our car show, with hot rods, minitrucks, motorcycles and more, we've combined all we could so that between all show hours, and even after, people would be drawn to the show, and kept entertained! Both days we'll have raffle items out, door prizes and much more. If you get hungry at any point, food vendors will be offering scrumptious dishes, or you can compete in our Hot Dog Eating Contest fighting for the "Wiener King" award. Watch out in the back of the show grounds if you see any atendee's lifted truck cruising that way, he or she will probably be heading to crush some cars in the "Car Crush". Want to crush some cars yourself? We'll have a Sledge Hammer Car for all to enjoy.
Throughout Saturday, we will continue our tradition of having a Car and Truck Limbo where those who are lowered with any type of suspension including static dropped, air ride or hydrolics, compete to get the award for "Lowest Car" and "Lowest Truck". Saturday night after the show wraps up, we'll have some bands and DJ's performing (TBT, Tenative). After words, you'll probably see all the vehicles cruising the show grounds, and people congregating around cars and campsites discussing their vehicles, plans, and all those car related conversations.
Bright and early Sunday morning, we'll be starting back up bright and early, and continueing the show and festivities. We'll have our Annual "Hug Chug" contest, one for adults and one for kids. When all winds down, you'll have see who get's drawn for the chinese raffle prizes provided by the club and our generous sponsors and vendors, our 50/50 raffle and when all is said and done, we'll be awarding our TOP 50 vehicles, along with various specialty awards from our vendors including Best of Show, Longest Distance Traveled, Best Paint, Best Interior and more.
