Well, we did it again. Another year, another successful show, and another accomplishment for Xtreme Gravity. Despite poor weather saturday, the show went on, and sunday's great weather brought in even more people. This year there was much more going on between the car/truck limbo, car crush, sledge hammer car, and much more. The show raised over $3000 which was given to the Mansfield branch of the American Cancer Society. Click here for a full write up.
We have to give them credit for always putting on one of the best shows in the tri-state area. Dropt n Destroyed is Dropt Out's yearly show, and Aaron and the rest of the club do a great job. The 2nd year at the MAPS Air Museum in Canton, Oh the show brought over 550 vehicles, and despite it being cold was an amazing show. We look forward to attending next year. If you haven't been to the show, you haven't partied. Hotel parties are a must...
Every year Camp N Drag, at the Lake Waveland Campgrounds, lives up to it's name and gets better and better. Technically a one day show, festivities start early Friday and last through on Sunday, and this year started Thursday morning when over half the club and their significant others joined up to get ready. Despite some set backs, the club got 2 hours of sleep then left bright and early for the show. Once we set up right in the main entrance, XG definitely stood out strong. The weekend was filled with the car show saturday, but through out the weekend minis, rods, bikes and just about everything else cruised the campground, along with burnouts, dragging, and what not. Nights were filled with drinking, partying with other clubs, and non-show festivites included swimming (BALL!), hanging out and what not. Check out the show coverage to get a better idea and see the sick rides.
In the Mansfield area? XG is a strong supporter of local shows, and there is always a good chance you'll catch some of the guys at the Arby's in Mansfield, at 689 N. Lexington Springmill Rd. The show is every Tuesday from 5-9PM. The show is for all makes and models. So bring out your hot rod, minitruck, import, bike, Harley, or whatever it is you drive, along with your friends and family for some good times. There's facepainting, cornhole, games and door prizes. Of course there is discounts on Arby's food.
After an eventful drive, members of XG made it to Morristown, TN to be apart of Layd Out At The Park 2012. Definitely worth it. Make sure to check out the coverage.
Xtreme Gravity made their presence known this weekend at the Cleveland Autorama. Our first showing of the year, we had 7 members' rides, along with 1 of our prospects, and two friends rides at the show. All of our member's took home an award, and Xtreme Gravity as a whole, won 2nd place Club Display for our "Chop Shop" theme.
Joey Dubs' employer, as well one of XG's Laws of Physics' new sponsor, 4 Wheel Parts Cleveland hosted their first Car Crush of the year, for their Annual "Madness in March" Sale. There was 2 cars donated to be ran over, along with full use of the RTI ramp. There were ton's of members and clubs present. Look for some of these clubs at this year's Laws of Physics!
17 guys and gals, mostly containing XG members, along with some friends made our way up to Detroit Autorama. Although no member's of the club were showing, we came to support our good friend White Wall Steve. A good two day trip, tons of nice vehicles, and good antics prevailed.
